Data Not Collected

Lightwhirl is a music visualizer for macOS by Pavel Yakimenko. It does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.

Audio

Lightwhirl needs the macOS System Audio Recording permission to hear what your Mac is playing. The audio is analyzed in memory to draw the picture, then discarded. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.

No network, no tracking

The app contains no networking code and no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. There is no account and no sign-in.

What stays on your Mac

Only the app’s own settings and window state are kept locally on your Mac by macOS. They never leave it.

This website

This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, trackers, external fonts or other third-party resources. It is a static site hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.

Children

Lightwhirl collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
